This all came together quickly—there will be some new things to look forward to as well as some things to feel nostalgic about. Let me break it down for you:
Commercial Equipment Upgrade: I’m getting a large steam-injected bread oven. I’m also purchasing two commercial refrigerators and a large mixer.
More Bakery-ish: More breads and sweets, plus an expanded food service menu.
Retail Shift: I’ll be discontinuing some non-Drifter retail, save for a selection of most-loved items. If you have feelings about what you think should stay, let me know!
A new look + flow
All service will be at the window.
Adam’s community tables + benches made from salvaged red oak will be out front—an aesthetic game changer. (So very excited for these beauties!)
The entire shop will become a kitchen-focused space with more energy going into fresh baking and food & drink service.
